Family Practice

Overview

Opportunity for full- or part-time physician at a well-established, full-service family practice that has been in Nanaimo for over 40 years. Very flexible hours and days with no walk-in, weekend, or after-hours required. No on-call duties.

Currently 10 physicians in practice, most of whom practice part-time in clinic and part-time elsewhere (ER, urgent care, maternity, youth clinic, etc.). We are a mix of experienced (>25 years) and new (<5 years) physicians, and are an extremely collegial and supportive group. Common bullpen area where physicians sit, but private office space available to make phone calls etc during the day if preferred. Approx. 2 exam rooms available per doctor while seeing patients in person. Mix of tele-health and in-person appointments as determined by physician.
