Opportunity Description
We are recruiting for the Permanent Position of a: Field Engineer.
Our client is an internationally based company that manufactures and installs bespoke automated cutting‑edge machines into manufacturing facilities across the UK, Europe and around the world.
Basic Salary from £44,000 to £45,000 plus Overtime Pay, Company Car, Pension, 25 days of annual leave plus 8 Bank Holidays, and a Benefits Package.
Qualifications and Skills
- Electrical background with some mechanical experience
- HND or HNC qualified
- Apprentice trained
- Read planned machine drawings
- Experience with PLCs and machine automation control systems
- Proven experience with fault finding, servicing and machine installation
- Confidence working with complex automated machinery
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Ability to work with customers and complete technical reports and documentation
