Experience in overhead doors, garage doors, gates, or similar mechanical installation fields translates extremely well to this role and offers a lateral move with real advancement potential. If you’ve worked with motors, cables, pulleys, hydraulics, or mechanical troubleshooting, you’ll find your skills highly transferable in this high-demand specialty trade.
