Finance Analyst (Settlement and Reconciliation)

Overview

The Finance Analyst (Settlement and Reconciliation) position is mainly responsible for ensuring the accuracy of daily settlements, preparation of transaction analysis and reporting to the company’s clients.

Responsibilities

• Verify settlement transactions and ensure that correct reports are emailed to clients as per the agreed period.
• Compare and match settlement transactions and balances to internal and external balancing sources such as settlement statements.
• Resolve discrepancies identified in the reconciliation process.
• Report any discrepancies to concerned sections in a timely manner with recommendations and resolutions (if any).
• Accomplish daily reconciliation.
• Create, maintain, and update reconciliation procedures for assigned PTOs and Merchants.
• Ensure reconciliation reports are provided to clients as per agreement.
