Responsibilities You will analyze the environment (e.g., relationship between fuels, topography wind, humidity) in the fire environment to ensure use of the correct firefighting apparatus. You will control and extinguish a fire during firefighting operations. You will establish initial on-scene control during hazardous materials incidents. You will administer medications and solutions orally or intravenously under the direction of standing orders or of an off-site physician.
