Job Summary

The Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical parts,

equipment, and structures as per technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components and equipment

Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

Perform drilling, cutting, grinding, and fitting work

Install machinery parts and support fabrication work

Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical systems

Ensure proper alignment and fitting of parts

Use hand tools and power tools safely

Maintain workplace safety and cleanliness

Assist engineers and technicians during installation or maintenance

Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards
