Food and Beverage Server NOC 6513

Performing opening duties such as setting tables, polishing glasses, folding napkins, and replenishing condiments Greet customers, make suggestions, answer and present the menu. Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order. Take and serve food/drinks orders.

Ensuring accuracy when entering orders into the point of sale (POS) system. Answer all questions about beverages and the food. Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.

Deliver checks and collect payments. Requirements High school diploma or Bachelorss degree is an advantage. 1-2 years of work experience in an upmarket or high-volume restaurant.

Ability to listen to the customers order and relay it to the cooks. Hands-on experience in cashier duties. Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Well-groomed, professional appearance. A good memory to help remember various kinds of orders. Available to work shifts, extended hours, over weekends and holidays...
