Functional skills Tutor

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an alternative provision in Nottingham (NG5), supporting secondary-aged students who require a more tailored approach to education. The provision is committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping students develop both academically and personally.

We are looking to take on a Functional Skills Tutor with an immediate start available. The successful Functional Skills Tutor will be responsible for delivering Functional Skills Maths and English sessions to secondary-aged learners, supporting students on both a one-to-one and small group basis, and helping them work towards their educational targets and qualifications.

The successful Functional Skills Tutor will have:

• A relevant teaching, tutoring, or assessor qualification
• Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths and/or English
• Experience working with secondary-aged students
