GCC Engineer (2.13.1)
POSITION INFO:
Our client in the quarrying sector is seeking a qualified GCC Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal appointment as 2.13.1 Engineer
Ensure compliance across plant, equipment, and safety systems
Oversee maintenance planning, cost control, and plant optimisation
Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
Manage inspections (electrical, mechanical, structural, and safety systems)
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Mining GCC
Valid driver’s license
Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in a quarrying environment
Strong multi-disciplinary engineering knowledge (mechanical, electrical, structural)
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Advantageous:
DMRE mentor registration
