Job Description
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and other balance sheet items.
- Monitor and track company expenses, accruals, and depreciation.
- Prepare journal entries, adjustments, and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and government regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Prepare tax filings, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
