General Engineering Superintendent

Job Description

A well established Gold Mining Company based in the Northern Cape Province, has an exciting opportunity for a General Engineering Superintendent. The role will be responsible to manage a section of the Engineering Department according to standards and the Mine Health and Safety Act. Primary role is to develop Scope of Works, Bill of Quantities for Capital Projects as well as managing Capital Project from inception to completion.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Grade 12 (Matric)

•Foreman’s Certificate

•N6 Mech/Electrical engineering Certificate or higher qualification.

•Relevant trade test certificate

•Open cast mining experience

•5 – 10 years’ Engineering Foremen experience

•Proven track record of Executing of Capital Projects
