General Manager: Car Sales KZN and Free State - Avis Car Sales King Shaka Airport

This role is responsible for all Avis Car Sales’ sales and operations activities within the Kwa Zulu Natal and Free State provinces and accounts for 20% of the National Revenue annually. Responsible for developing and implementing regional business strategy through overseeing daily sales and operations, allocating resources, developing managers, managing financial performance through setting financial targets, budgeting and controlling costs.

Demonstrates a deep understanding of the automotive market, financial and consumer legislation and economic changes that impact vehicle pricing and residual values, marketing and sales strategies. Uses market and industry information to effectively develop and adapt departmental plans to create high performing and successful sales teams in the retail, wholesale and online channels.
