Opportunity Description
The Fleet General Manager provides a critical role where you’ll be expected to draw on your capabilities for effective collaboration, pragmatic problem solving and a close eye for performance standards.
Responsibilities- Day to Day Management of Tanker Fleet
- Duties include but not limited to; ISM and ISO auditing, policy & procedure review, emergency & oil spill prevention & response plan development & training, budget preparation and general fleet operations.
- Promote good communication between ashore departments and ship crew
- Ensuring the seaworthiness of assigned vessels (i.e: properly manned, maintained and equipped)
- Leading Emergency Response Team
- Team leader for all QHSSE audits or inquiries onboard
- Monitoring of corrective and preventive actions
