Job Description
The General Manager (GM) of Human Resources is the senior HR leader responsible for end-to-end HR strategy and execution for a fast-paced third-party logistics (3PL) organization with approximately 500 employees across 12 locations. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this role partners with operations leadership to build a high-performing, compliant, and engaged workforce across warehouse, transportation, and administrative functions. The GM of HR leads a team of five HR Specialists and oversees all HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation/benefits administration, HR compliance, training and development, HRIS/data reporting, and policy governance. This role will require working onsite in Knoxville TN with domestic travel expectations up to 50% of the time during the first 6 months then20-30% of the after.
