General Manager - Safety - Randstad

Randstad is recruiting a General Manager Safety on behalf of a leading government entity responsible for developing a major national transport network. This strategic role is appointed during the critical development and planning phase of a mega-infrastructure project.

As a senior executive leader (SES Band 1 equivalent), you will lead the integration of safety and WHS principles across all delivery stages.

• Strategy: Develop and maintain the safety strategy for a complex infrastructure program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

• Governance: Provide authoritative reporting and functional expertise to the Board, Executive leadership, and regulators.

• Safety-in-Design: Define safety design requirements and ensure Safety-in-Design principles are embedded from concept through to delivery.
