About the role
We’re looking for an experiencedFLT Driver / General Operativeto join CHEP – the global leader in pallet, crate, and container pooling. You’ll be operating forklifts safely to support production operations and service hauliers, includingvacuum lift operationto sort CHEP pallets to specific standards.
What you’ll do
Safely operate FLT trucks to support production & haulier operationsDirect visiting vehicles during loading & unloadingMaintain smooth flow on production lines within agreed SLAsSort stocks to correct standards following specific guidelinesEnsure trucks and equipment are well maintained; report operational problems including damage to truck or propertyCarefully handle and store company hire stock while following required stock rotationsWhat we need from you
Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse yard (or similar) environment
