The primary purpose of this position is to define and conduct original geophysical R&D in the general topic area of nuclear explosion monitoring. Such work may include both theoretical and empirical investigations of explosion and earthquake source physics, studies of geophysical wave propagation, development of data processing algorithms and software, especially those involving digital signal processing. Responsibilities Duty 1 - Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with 16AF, HAF/A2, other DOD organizations, Department of Energy, other US Government agencies, and national and international technical oversight committees.
