GL Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented GL Accountant to join our team in Los Angeles, California for a 2-month Contract assignment. This role will support core accounting operations by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing key statements, and assisting with month-end close activities. The ideal candidate brings strong general ledger experience, sound analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in an in-person environment while meeting established deadlines.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger by recording routine accounting activity and keeping financial data current.
• Calculate and monitor fixed asset depreciation using the straight-line method and ensure related entries are properly reflected.
• Prepare recurring financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow summaries, and budget-related documentation.
