Grain Inspector (Union)
Location: Burnaby, BC office.
Responsibilities
- Attend vessel loading to provide incremental grading as per CGC standards of grain, canola and pulse crops.
- Perform moisture, protein, falling number and DON testing as per acceptable industry methods.
- Divide samples, make up composite samples for retention and complete required paperwork.
- Communicate and work in collaboration with terminal shipping department.
- Properly utilize and maintain all PPE.
Qualifications
- Experience in grain grading as per CGC standards.
- Communication, literacy and numeracy skills in English.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work shift work.
