Group Engineering Manager

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Group Head: Engineering based in the, Gauteng Province. The Group Head: Engineering will provide strategic direction regarding engineering standards and procedures for the mine in order to reduce operational and business risk while maintaining and improving safety, equipment efficiency and availability and water and energy management.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•B Tech / B. Eng or BSc (Eng) Mechanical or Electrical

•Government Certificate of Competency

•ECSA Registered

•MBA, MBL or B.Com qualification will be an advantage

•Registered as a Project Management Professional advantageous

• 15 - 20 years’ experience in a hard rock mining operation

• 8 - 10 years broad senior management experience
