Overview
The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene, while leading and training the kitchen team. This is a key leadership role for the Streetscape branch and will play an integral role in the success of the restaurant’s expansion.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team in daily operations.
- Develop and maintain standard recipes and portion sizes.
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure quality and consistency.
- Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in compliance with local regulations.
- Control inventory, food costs, and minimize waste.
- Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating kitchen staff.
- Work closely with management in menu planning and new dish development, especially to suit the larger scale of the new branch.
