Health and Safety/Civil Defence Advisor

About the Role

Stratford District Council is recruiting for a Health and Safety/Civil Defence Advisor to join the team.

You will be responsible for all health and safety systems, processes and procedures to support the health and safety and wellbeing of staff in alignment with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. You will also work closely with our contractors to ensure our health and safety requirements are adhered to ensuring the safety of our community while working on council activities.

Emergency Management will be led by this role to meet council's requirements under the CDEM Act 2002 and ensure the 4 R's (readiness, response, recovery and reduction) are in place for our District should it be required.
