The Health Information Technician is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and managing patient health records while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare documentation standards. This role supports daily medical records operations through document management, electronic record maintenance, reporting, and collaboration with internal staff.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative experience in a medical office setting required
- Candidates with front office or medical administrative support experience preferred
- Clinical-only backgrounds (including Medical Assistants) and billing/coding-focused experience are not preferred for this role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
