Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Tier 2)

Job Description
A U.S. based manufacturer best known for its truck-mounted vacuum and industrial cleaning equipment is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their expanding company. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be under the direction of the Service Manager. This role performs service and repair procedures on truck-mounted vacuum equipment both in the shop and in the field. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, conducting PM inspections, and ensuring equipment meets “Ready to Rent” standards. Occasional travel for field service calls and training is required.

Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Perform scheduled PM inspections on chassis, vacuum body, hydraulic, electrical, air, and water systems
