Helper Mechanic

Job descriptionAssist mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs. Test drives vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly. – Responsible for the maintenance and repair of forklifts.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms minor overhauling.Conducts troubleshooting work that cannot be attended to by Sr. Mechanic.Assists Sr. Mechanic in conducting troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of forklift. – Acts as a reliever to Sr. Mechanic in their absence.Conducts inventory of spare parts and sees to it that needed materials for urgent repair activities. Initiates requests for materials as needed.REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent. Additional education, certifications, or experience is generally preferred.Preferably at least 1-2 year(s) course in Automotive or Mechanical Technology or any related course.With any 6 months’ relevant experience is an advantage (but not required)
