Job Title: HGV Class 2 Refuse / Recycling Driver
Location: RG24 Basingstoke
Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:30
Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing with a chance to go permanent
Salary: £16.83
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to support refuse and recycling collections in line with contract requirements. This role involves operating collection vehicles, completing designated routes, and working as part of a team to maintain high service standards within the community.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out scheduled and reactive refuse and recycling collections
Operate vehicles and associated machinery safely and efficiently
Complete daily routes in line with schedules and agreed procedures
Adapt routes to accommodate traffic, road closures, weather, and operational changes
Use in-cab technology/mobile devices to record work in real time
