Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Histotechnician for a contract position with a Pharmaceutical Company located in Ridgefield, CT. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role involves supporting research and development projects by preparing high-quality biological specimens for analysis. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of histology, including tissue processing, microtomy, and staining, while working collaboratively with pathologists and scientists in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Tissue fixation, processing, and embedding of biological specimens
- Sectioning tissues using microtomy techniques to prepare high-quality slides
