Opportunity Description
The HR Specialist serves as the payroll checker, benefits controller, and lead for Philippine labor compliance and employee relations. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll and government remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG), clean due‑process documentation, on‑time DOLE reporting, and fair handling of employee relations cases in accordance with Philippine labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll (Checker)
- Review payroll inputs including time records, overtime, night differential, and allowances.
- Validate payroll computations and confirm final net pay totals.
- Sign and approve the Payroll Check Sheet every payroll cut‑off.
Benefits Controller (SSS / PhilHealth / Pag-IBIG)
- Build and maintain expected EE/ER/EC contributions per employee based on current rules (2025).
- Reconcile expected vs. paid contributions using PRNs and Official Receipts.
