H&S Specialist / IM London

The Health & Safety Specialist is responsible to support and enhance Istituto Marangoni’s safety culture. This role ensures compliance with UK health & safety legislation and promotes best practices across university facilities, departments, and campus-wide operations. The role will involve conducting risk assessments, implementing safety initiatives, and providing expert advice to ensure a safe and compliant environment for staff, students, and visitors.

Key responsibilities of the role

• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations (e.g. Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, Fire Safety Order 2005, and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002).
• Develop, implement, and review H&S policies, procedures, and programs.
