HSE Engineer Safety Officer

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include ensuring to carry out all necessary actions and work to the satisfaction of the authority (DEWA, FEWA, DM, etc.) and client. Experience in work area related to construction projects of power stations, substations, etc. will be essential. Previous experience in HSE/Safety roles with experience in the relevant industry (e.g., power construction, oil & gas) is crucial. A minimum of 10 years of experience is required. Reporting to the Project Manager and shall be conversant with the following:

• Responsible for Safety of the Plant offices buildings equipment safety of personnel safety of work at site during civil electrical and testing/commissioning phase.
• Assessment of Risk factors for hazards and counter measure activities.
• Monitor for work permits for live and shutdown.
• Frequent visits and access to all work areas for monitoring safety of work.
