Incoming Quality Inspector (IQC) | Semicon | East Job Responsibilities
- Perform incoming material inspection and/or verification of line fallout in a timely manner.
- Make required quality decisions, decide if a corrective action is warranted and communicate with Supplier Quality Engineer and Buyers.
- Sample materials using documented sampling plans and procedures.
- Perform physical inspection of materials using tools including but not limited to micrometer, calipers and feeler gauges.
- Maintain IQC tool calibration status and inventory control of IQC labels; raise requisition orders where needed.
- Perform visual inspection to distinguish any discrepancy/difference in color, shape and texture of the material.
- Record data into SAP system; initiate documentation and follow up with inspection and disposition functions.
