Volt is immediately hiring for Inspector II in Chatsworth, CA.
As an Inspector II , you will:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured and purchased components.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges.
- Conduct surface plate layouts and verify outside, in?process, and final inspections.
- Review engineering drawings, work instructions, purchase orders, and customer specifications.
- Complete quality documentation including First Article Inspection (AS9102), inspection logs, and non?conformance reports.
- Enter inspection and quality data into ERP systems accurately and timely.
- Inspect raw materials, work?in?process, and finished products prior to shipment.
