Role and Facility Information

Fraser Health requires two full-time (2 x 1.0 FTE) palliative care physicians to provide clinical service along with our multidisciplinary team located in Surrey, B.C. This is an exciting opportunity, where you will work alongside other palliative care physicians and nurse practitioners to provide consultation services to community-based patients.

Throughout the Fraser Health Authority we provide integrated, regional, comprehensive palliative care services in a number of settings including 30 Palliative Complex Care Unit (PCCU) beds; consult services in 12 acute care sites as well as in the community and other settings; and support to 126 hospice beds.

Senior physicians will have certification from either the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Preference will be provided to individuals who have completed additional training in Palliative Medicine, fro...
