Inventory Analyst (GSC Philippines)

Responsibilities

• Provide inventory accounting and costing services to 3M subsidiaries for countries with Legacy System, and for SAP system countries during the transition period.
• Ensure compliance with 3M Financial Standard, SOX and other regulations.
• Prepare manual journal entries.
• Perform timely balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Lead monthly inventory closing operations for subsidiaries and support system operations; maintain legacy system inventory ledger in compliance with 3M standards.
• Run soft closing and analyze/report variance information on a weekly basis.
• Update unit cost in the system, run costing for new material numbers, and collaborate with countries for issue resolution on a daily basis.
• Engage in ad-hoc activities such as internal/external audits and tax audits.
• Enhance KPIs to improve productivity and service quality.
