Non-Negotiable Skills:

• Background and experience in SOX audit.


• Experience aligning controls and forming opinions on the integrity of financial statements through technology risk and control assessments.


• Hands on experience with control testing, including:
  
  
  
  • Gathering and reviewing audit evidence
  
  
  • Performing detailed analysis to ensure evidence is complete, accurate, and free of gaps
  
  
  • Ensuring documentation meets SOX requirements with a high degree of precision
  
  
  
  


• Strong understanding of the auditor mindset, including what auditors look for and how they evaluate control design and operating effectiveness.

• Background in a Big Four audit firm, either leading or supporting SOX examinations within a technology control environment.
