IT Senior Buyer

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers in cooperation with business owners to buy goods or services within the IT category, ensuring cost efficiency, meeting business needs and compliance with ING policies and procedures.
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships, ensuring the level of service agreed in contracts and maximizing return for ING; act as a single voice from ING regardless of the number of users.
• Prepare contracts, ensuring services and conditions agreed and compliance with internal policies; check that services are rendered with agreed quality levels; follow contract life‑cycle and prepare termination plans.
• Communicate fluently with Head Office, reporting on negotiations and efficiency projects, cooperating on cost optimisation and global contracts.
• Engage with Head Office and local business owners to generate local agreements to implement global agreements negotiated by Head Office.
