IT Specialist

1. Coordinates with thecompany's IT service provider for the performance of regular preventive maintenance (i.e. inspection, cleaning, and condition) of the various IT equipment and assists in installing software and hardware updates.
2. Provide all the necessary assistance to the users on hardware issues related to desktops, computer peripherals, such as printers, scanners, hard drives, monitors, etc., software assistance concerning installation and updating software, and troubleshooting of network connection/configuration.
3. Responsible for the maintenance of servers and telephone systems, security and privacy of networks, backing up and securing of databases as well as retrieving of files when needed.
4. Prepares monthly IT reports to keep track of issues and record asset serial numbers and specifications.
5. Maintains the inventory of all IT-related assets (e.g. monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment)
