It Support Specialist Midrand

Our client, a key player in the Global mining supply industry, is on the lookout for a highly motivated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join their team in Midrand, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our computer systems, devices, and networks, ensuring they operate efficiently and securely. This role involves providing technical support and training to staff both in person and remotely, as well as managing IT assets and software licenses.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Hardware

1. Configure and install user devices and peripherals.
2. Troubleshoot and repair faulty devices and peripherals.
3. Ensure all devices are updated and comply with security protocols.
4. Provide user support and training as required.
5. Manage and update the IT asset register.
