Junior Benefits Utilization Analyst

Responsibilities

The Junior Benefits Utilization Analyst is responsible for the initial review and triage of potential fraud, abuse, or irregular benefit claims. This role performs preliminary analysis of referrals, tips, and audits to determine whether claims can proceed or require escalation to a Senior Analyst for full investigation. The position supports the organization’s commitment to protecting plan assets while ensuring fair and timely claims processing.

The volume of caseload can vary from day to day; therefore the ideal candidate must be able to manage and prioritize their workload accordingly.

Hybrid working model based out of our Winnipeg, MB office, with three days in office per week.

Qualifications

• Experience processing group insurance health and dental claims
• Experience in a fraud-related field would be considered an asset
• Background in customer service is an asset...
