Opportunity Description
Our client is looking for a Junior Buyer for their new offices near Centurion. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in supply chain management while supporting their daily purchasing operations and supplier relations.
Key responsibilities:
Assist the procurement team with sourcing materials and placing purchase orders.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any order discrepancies.
Monitor inventory levels and identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.
Requirements:
Relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management.
Strong administrative skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Experience in the packaging industry a plus
