Junior Draughtsman

Requirements

• Experience: 1-3 years' experience
• Qualifications: Relevant draughting qualification advantageous.
• Professional Registrations: Not required.
• Software: Microsoft Office (proficient in excel, word, outlook), Nesting Software (any but not critical), any 3D design package (AutoCAD and Inventor preferred).
• Proficient in English (Crucial) and Afrikaans (Ideal)
• Notice period: Not more than 1 month.

Responsibilities

• Reports to engineering/drawing office manager.
• Product development and design.
• Assist Engineers and Design Draughtsmen.
• Take on complete projects from start to finish.
• Maintain drawing packs, filing and administration.
• Issue drawings to factory.
• Assist production and repair departments as needed.
• Create nestings for plasma.
• Assist with day-to-day requirements.
