Opportunity Description
Our client is seeking a Junior Maintenance Technician to join the Coega, Port Elizabeth team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning of preventative maintenance by giving relevant feedback to management
- Ensure that all work carried out at the factory and on equipment is done in compliance with the OHS act and that it complies with the Food Safety policies
- Continually monitor and maintain the condition of company assets including but not limited to machinery and equipment of the production facilities
- Ensure all maintenance schedules that are to be done daily, weekly, monthly are carried out correctly and timeously
- Report faults and findings daily that could lead to possible downtime, so that repairs can be scheduled
- Housekeeping of the Substations and Workshop to be kept up to standard
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Minimum N3 in Electrical Engineering
