KCC-Pediatric Nurse Practitioner FT/Days

JOB SUMMARY: Provides advanced nursing care and physician support in the treatment of pediatric patients in an outpatient 
setting. Responsibilities include providing care to infant, child, and adolescent patients in the diagnosis, treatment, and management 
of medical conditions; obtaining patient histories; conducting developmental assessments; ordering diagnostic tests and scans; 
diagnosing illnesses; prescribing medications; and developing and monitoring treatment plans. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner 
collaborates with physicians in the development of patient care plans, communicates changes in patient status, assists patients and 
families in managing chronic conditions, promotes health and wellness, performs well-child and sports physical examinations, 
adjusts nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and maintains accurate patient medical records. Requires an
