Opportunity Description
Job Summary
The Lab Technician supports new product project engineers, application engineers, and in some instances the quality department. The position reports to the Engineering Services Manager or a designee.
Essential Job Functions
Manage and complete requested caster and wheel testing.
Testing to Industry Standards
Customer requested testing
Continuous/Quality requested testing
Maintain and improve the test lab and testing equipment; assure calibration schedules are maintained, and preventative maintenance activities are established and performed.
Develop new testing equipment and fixturing where needed.
Convert customer testing into equivalent testing for our current equipment to approximate actual results.
