Laboratory Assistant

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least SPM/ STPM/ Pre-Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma in Agriculture/ Aquaculture/ Forestry, Biotechnology, Computer Science/ Information Technology, Geographical Science, or equivalent.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Computer Literate

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist Officer in research works in the Pest and Disease Department. Most works are related to handling of insects but may include other pest and disease related subjects.
• To be involved in helping the Officer in carrying out trial works such as setting trial, sampling, and implementing treatment. Assist in data collection and recording.
• Assists in laboratory works, safety, and upkeep as required.
• Must be willing to handle chemicals, agricultural pests (including insects and mammals) and agricultural diseases.
