Unit Details: We are seeking a skilled Travel Histology Technician to join our team. The primary responsibilities will include:
"Routine paraffin embedding
"Microtomy and sectioning for routine H&E staining
"Immunohistochemistry (IHCs) and molecular procedures
"Processing information and office orders
"Minimal special staining and processing duties
Requirements:
"Certification: ASCP-HT (American Society for Clinical Pathology - Histotechnician)
"Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in histology, with specific expertise in microtomy and paraffin embedding.
Additional Information:
"Pre-approved time off must be submitted before confirmation of the contract.
"This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently within the scheduled hours.
-Some OT is offered but not mandatory.
