Job Highlights:

This is a full time Phlebotomy lead position for St. Mary's Hospital in Janesville. The schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and includes a holiday rotation. Weekends are not scheduled but there may be a need to pick up some when vacant.

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, supervises assignments within the laboratory and acts as a resource to Laboratory Support Technicians.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedules, plans, delegates and supervises assignments. Provides feedback during performance review process.
  • Ensures daily workflow is completed following established procedures.
  • Assists leadership on projects of medium complexity and size.
  • May orient new staff.
  • Performs the loading and unloading of lab specimens from automated and non-automated instrumentation, as well as perform various waived testing.
