Laboratory Technician C - Hydrocarbon (Seasonal)

Seasonal position – anticipated end date: January 4, 2027.

What you will be doing

• Perform basic laboratory procedures including preparation of samples, reagents, and calibration solutions.
• Provide general lab support including washing glassware, cleaning workstations, and waste disposal.
• Operate instruments such as GC-FID and TCD , with guidance from senior staff performing maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Perform basic analysis.
• Report results.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table

• Post‑secondary education with a Chemical degree, diploma, or equivalent experience.
• Previous work lab experience is an asset; training will be provided.
• Experience in GC and general lab skills is an asset.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
