Land Surveyor

A Land Surveyor is responsible for measuring and mapping land surfaces to determine property boundaries, land features, and elevations.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's degree in land surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Previous experience in surveying or working as a surveying technician is required.
• Licensing and Certification: In many regions, land surveyors must be licensed or registered, which often requires passing a state exam. Certification from professional organizations, such as the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS), can be an advantage.
