Opportunity Description
Responsibilities: • Lead and execute end-to-end migration waves — owning day-to-day implementation of server, database, and application workloads from mobilization through cutover and hypercare. • Implement and operate AWS migration tools (MGN, DMS/SCT, Migration Hub, ADS, DataSync, Snowball) hands-on across all project phases. • Build, maintain, and execute detailed wave plans, cutover runbooks, rollback scripts, and acceptance test criteria in close coordination with the project architect and delivery manager. • Lead a team of migration engineers — assign tasks, conduct technical reviews, resolve blockers, and ensure quality of delivery across all migration workstreams. • Provide technical inputs to architects and consultants during the Assess/Mobilize phase — tooling recommendations, dependency mapping outputs, effort sizing, and risk identification. • Implement automated migration workflows, pre/post-migration validation scripts, and reusable runbooks using Python, Bash, or PowerSh...
